Fragments V Absence

Fragments V Absence is part of my ongoing series The Geometry of Silence, a body of work exploring memory, absence, and the emotional resonance of space.

In this painting, a single curved form occupies only a portion of the canvas, suggesting a larger presence that remains unseen. The composition is intentionally restrained, allowing silence, scale, and negative space to become active elements within the work.

Rather than depicting a place, the painting evokes the sensation of remembering a place—where fragments remain while the whole can no longer be fully reconstructed.

Through reduction and ambiguity, Fragments I Absence invites viewers to complete the image through their own perception and memory.
