Original artwork description:
I created this painting as an exploration of light, distance, and the emotional experience of moving through space.
A solitary figure stands at the far end of a corridor, surrounded by shifting planes of color and architecture. The passage unfolds through repetition and perspective, drawing the eye toward an illuminated destination that remains undefined.
I am interested in how architectural forms can function as emotional structures. Walls, openings, and shadows become metaphors for memory, uncertainty, and the quiet transitions that shape our lives.
The contrast between deep blue, luminous yellow, and saturated red creates a sense of tension and possibility. The figure appears small within the vast geometry of the space, emphasizing both isolation and resilience.
This work is part of my ongoing Rooms of Light series, in which imagined architectural environments become contemplative spaces between memory and perception.
